Unfortunately, success in the NBA is not always easy to come by. Just ask the Nets. You have to feel a little bit sorry for them, despite the fact they're professional athletes who are rich, have summers off, drive expensive sports cars, date models... okay, we take that back, maybe we shouldn't feel so bad for them. And though maybe none of us will ever live that lifestyle, at least we can know what it feels like to win, and to help you do so, here is a scouting report for the newest fantasy basketball Frenzy.
PLAYER 1 - Each Player Has 8 Scheduled Games
Carmelo Anthony - Anthony currently leads the NBA in scoring at more than 30 points per contest. He's also averaging nearly a steal and a half per game.

Danny Granger - Granger is second in the NBA in three-pointers made per game, and is one of just two players with at least 3.0 three-point shots made per contest.
Dirk Nowitzki - Nowitzki's only shortcoming are offensive boards, as he pulls down fewer than 1.0 per game, but he's fifth in the NBA in scoring, and averages over 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steal.
PLAYER 3 - Each Player Has 6 Scheduled Games

Paul Pierce - Pierce had been very cold since December started, scoring just eight points in each of his first two games of the month, along with only two rebounds in each contest.
Amar'e Stoudemire - Stoudemire will only dish the rock at a rate of about 1.0 assist per contest, but he also scores over 19.0 points and pulls down over 7.0 boards with about 1.0 steal per game.
PLAYER 4 - Each Player Has 7 Scheduled Games
Tyreke Evans - Evans is steady, especially for a rookie. He'll give you 19 points, five boards and five assists per game.
Pau Gasol - Having played only six games so far this season, Gasol doesn't qualify for the league leaders, but if he did he'd be seventh in offensive rebounds per game, ninth with 10.2 rebounds per game, and 17th with 1.5 blocks per contest, all while giving you nearly 18.0 points per game.
Rudy Gay - Gay will give you nearly 21.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 0.8 blocks per game, though with only 2.0 assists and few three-pointers.

Brook Lopez - One of the poor Nets we mentioned at the open, Lopez is having an otherwise great season, scoring more than 18.0 points per game. He's also third in the league in blocks per contest, 11th in offensive boards per game and in the top-20 with nearly 9.0 overall rebounds per game.
Greg Oden - Oden is second in the league in blocks per game, and leads the NBA in blocks per 48 minutes.
Brandon Roy - Roy's best asset is his scoring ability, as he averages a neat 20.0 points per game, not to mention just over 5.0 assists. But his defense doesn't translate to the stat sheet, as he grabs fewer than 1.0 steal and less than 0.2 blocks per game.
PLAYER 6 - Each Player Has 6 Scheduled Games
Gilbert Arenas - Forget about offensive rebounds with him, but Arenas will give you over 20 points, and 1.0 steal, and about 6.5 assists per game.
Baron Davis - Davis is averaging over 16.0 points per game but is capable of more. He's also dishing 7.0 assists per contest with nearly 2.0 steals.
Kevin Garnett - Garnett is averaging fewer than 15.0 points, but is well-rounded with over 7.0 boards, and 1.0 steal per contest, to go with nearly 3.0 assists and 1.0 block.

Andrew Bynum - Bynum is 10th in the league in rebounds per game with 10.2 despite not pulling down double-digit rebounds in a game over his last six contests. He's also 11th in blocks per game with 1.8 and is averaging over 18.0 points.
Luol Deng - Deng's weakness is in assists, as he averages fewer than 2.0 per game, but he also puts in about 18 points per contest, with 8.5 rebounds, more than one steal, and nearly one block.
Marc Gasol - Gasol is the only player in the league averaging over 15.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.0 block and 1.0 steal per contest.

Stephen Jackson - Jackson offers decent totals across the board, scoring over 16.0 points per contest, with over 4.0 assists and rebounds, and nearly 1.5 steals.

PLAYER 9 - Each Player Has 6 Scheduled Games
Caron Butler - Butler is pulling down almost 7.0 rebounds per game to go with over 16.0 points and 1.0 steal.
Al Harrington - You won't get assists or blocks from Harrington, but you will get over 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 steal.
Chris Kaman - Kaman's cooled a bit of late but still puts up about 19.0 points per game. He also averages more than 2.0 offensive rebounds per contest among his over 8.0 total boards per game and swats over 1.0 shot per game.
Steve Nash - Nash is first in the NBA in assists per game at 11.5, and is the only player averaging over 10.

Zach Randolph - Randolph is tied for third in the NBA in offensive rebounds per contest, and he's averaging around 18 points per game.
Derrick Rose - Rose is averaging just over 5.0 assists per game, which is too few for someone at his position unless he scores a lot. He doesn't, with an average of less than 16.0 points per game, to go with about 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 steal per contest.
Rodney Stuckey - Stuckey won't give you many offensive rebounds or blocks, but he is averaging over 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per contest.
David West - 15.3 points and nearly 7.0 boards are solid, but West is also averaging under 2.5 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block per game.
PLAYER 11 - Each Player Has 8 Scheduled Games
Andrea Bargnani - The seven-footer is offering his fantasy owners a nice season. He's averaging more than 17.0 points per game, pulling in over 6.0 boards, blocking more than 1.0 shot and making more than 1.0 three-pointer per game.

Andrei Kirilenko - AK-47 had a strained back that kept him out of one game, but he is otherwise doing what he usually does: double-digit scoring, about 5.0 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block per game.
Mo Williams - Williams averages over 17.0 points and 4.5 assists per game, but gets almost no offensive rebounds, and averages just 0.2 per contest.

Jason Terry - Terry scores nearly 18.0 points per game, but offers almost no value in the other categories, other than his 1.6 three-pointers per contest.

PLAYER 13 - Each Player Has 6 Scheduled Games
Ray Allen - Allen is averaging only 1.5 three-pointers made per game, which is just 44th in the league, making his best asset not so much of one.

Al Horford - Horford can be a streaky scorer, but his nearly 10.0 rebounds per game puts him in the league's top-15.

PLAYER 14 - Each Player Has 7 Scheduled Games
Ron Artest - Now that he's no longer drinking in between games, as he did with the Bulls, Artest can play without falling over. But he's not doing much statistically this season on a loaded Lakers squad with a scoring average just over 12.0, with over 1.0 steal but under 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
Aaron Brooks - Brooks will give you 17 points and 5.5 assists per game, but also only a couple rebounds, less than one steal, and almost no blocks.
